Pacific Poker Upgrades Software

Pacific Poker has announced their upgraded software for their online poker players, the features of this new software will have options that will allow re-buys and add-ons. This software will also have features to enhance multi-tabling for the online poker player making their online gaming experience better.

Another new feature of this software at Pacific Poker is that it includes a poker client that is in two new languages; both Dutch and Portuguese; this will allow them to add new poker players to their online casino.

In statements made from 888.com’s marketing director Mark Robinson, he states that 888.com strives to make their site accessible to many players of different languages and better the 888.com and Pacific Poker sites for the online players who use their sites. This includes updated software that offers more features, and games along with terrific graphics.

He has also said they are working to make their software client available in as many languages as possible to give online players from all over the world the experience to play at their online casinos.

According to Matt Robinson the reason they are updating their software is for their online players as they are 888.com’s largest asset.

Pokerstars WBCOOP Champion

Sunday, October 13, 2007 saw LParrerira, a Portuguese blogger winning a $12,000 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure prize package to the 2008 World Poker Tour (WPT) in PokerStars 3rd Annual World Blogger Championship of Online Poker (WBCOOP).

The Championship as the name implies is for bloggers only and it is PokerStars way of expressing gratitude for the scope of work they do. They don’t necessarily have to write blogs regarding Poker, but they do need to write blogs.  The entry to WBCOOP was to post a graphic advertisement about the Championship on their blogs and their blogs had to be at least two months old and had to be verified by staff at PokerStars.

In 2005 PokerStars became the first online poker site to maintain a fulltime poker blog and in that same year they launched the WCOOP.  They understand the importance of maintaining a blog for the poker community and it is their way of ‘giving back’ to these writers.

Here are the Final Table Results from The 2007 WCOOP:
